Lome Peace and Security Forum

On October 11 and 12, 2025, the President of the Council of Ministers of Togo, His Excellency, Faure Gnassingbé, and His Excellency, Robert Dussey, invited scholars, government officials, and experts, to attend the Lome Peace and Security Form (LPSF). This forum is a place to exchange ideas on African security and to develop concrete policy recommendations to help resolve these security issues. The LPSF is one of the premier African security conferences on the continent. Attending was truly an honor, and hearing and understanding African views and solutions to African security problems is essential. I have spoken with many contacts about the event, and look forward to seeing the long-term results of this important conference. Here are a few pictures of the event.
